What we take care of

Monthly bookkeeping, from transactions to reports.

Build a regular bookkeeping routine around your accounts, transaction volume, and reporting needs.

Record the activity

Monthly bookkeeping

Record and categorize income and expenses, track receipts and bills, and organize supporting records. We'll follow up on transactions that need more information.

Check the details

Account reconciliations

Check your books against bank and credit card statements. Investigate missing transactions, duplicates, and differences before completing the month.

Review the month

Monthly close and reports

Close the period and prepare the agreed reports, such as an income statement (profit and loss), balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Cash- or accrual-basis reporting is agreed as part of your service.

Catch-up and cleanup

Behind on your books?

Start where you are. We'll review the periods that need attention, identify missing records, and explain the work needed to bring your books up to date.

A separate estimate for cleanup.

Catch-up and cleanup work, along with tax services, are scoped and priced separately from ongoing bookkeeping. You'll know what's included before you decide.

Before we begin

Questions before we begin.

What is included in monthly bookkeeping?

We agree on the accounts, bookkeeping tasks, reports, and schedule before starting. Your service can include transaction categorization, income and bill tracking, account reconciliations, and a monthly close with financial reports.

Can you help if my books are behind?

Yes. We'll review what's missing or needs correcting and quote that work separately from monthly bookkeeping. You don't need to get everything organized before contacting us.

Is tax preparation included?

Tax preparation and other tax services are discussed and priced separately. Keeping your books current helps organize the records needed for your tax return.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. TaxGuard serves small businesses across the United States remotely. We'll agree on how to share records, answer questions, and keep your reporting on schedule.

Let’s talk

A clearer next step starts here.

Tell us a little about yourself and the help you need. We’ll follow up to discuss the work, the timing, and the cost.

Please keep Social Security numbers, bank details, and tax documents out of this form. We’ll explain how to share sensitive records when needed.
